Systems Thinking

Systems thinking is a way of making sense of the complexity of the world by looking at it in terms of wholes and relationships rather than by splitting it down into its parts.

Systems thinking is a holistic approach to analysis that focuses on how a system's constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems. It is characterised by the idea that the parts of a system can best be understood in the context of relationships with each other and other systems rather than in isolation.

Systems thinking is about looking at the bigger picture, understanding the interdependencies within a system, and recognising patterns and cycles in complex environments.
It emphasises the importance of considering the whole system, including the interactions and relationships among its elements, to fully understand and effectively manage any issues or changes within that system.
